Having spent a number of years running a gym, I’ve had the pleasure of talking with many people about their health and wellness goals. I’ve heard their stories of struggle as well as triumph, and I’ve been inspired by their resolve to pursue the version of themselves that they deem to be the very best. I sought certifications in fitness, nutrition, health coaching, behavior change and general wellness so that I would have a knowledge base to truly help my gym members as opportunity allowed. Later, I decided to expand and offer those same services to others in my community and online.
I view coaching as more than just a guided conversation or a partnership focused on change. I see it as an opportunity to be an advocate and mentor, sharing meaningful moments of insight throughout each stage of my client's journey and celebrating each milestone with them as they conquer their goals and create a better quality of life for themselves and those they care about most.
I don't believe in a false Pollyanna-style optimism. Instead, I challenge my clients to see themselves with truth, to love themselves with grace, to commit themselves to growth, and to be their most authentic self each and every day. This type of foundation accepts the flaws and challenges of life while still promoting hope and growth.
